Initial Audit Assessment & Defensive Posture Development

Currently under audit and unsure where to begin? GRSA provides an early-stage audit assessment designed to help providers understand their risk exposure and develop a strategic response before investing significant time and resources into a full appeal effort.

GRSA will review one clinical progress note from each of two complex audited cases, evaluate the auditor’s concerns, identify documentation strengths and vulnerabilities, and develop a preliminary defense strategy. Findings are discussed during a consultation session, providing providers with a clear understanding of potential risks, documentation gaps, and recommended next steps.

Deliverables include a Preliminary Audit Risk Assessment, Initial Defensive Posture Strategy Memorandum, recommendations for additional documentation and evidence development, and guidance for reducing future audit risk.
